ONS HUIS is the living room of the Jordaan. Enjoy a drink or a extensive dinner.

A fusion of coffee, breakfast, meeting, work, food and cocktails. From the smell of freshly baked croissants in the morning, to a delicious dinner prepared by ONS chef Raymond.

Dutch Cuisine

At ONS HUIS we are focused on sustainable cooking with local seasonal products where organic wines are served.

We cook according to the Dutch Cuisine concept. The course tells where and in which season we live. Our aim is to always cook every dish with 80% seasonal products where possible from Dutch soil and 20% off season, 80% plant products and 20% meat or fish. Work from head to tail and a no waste policy. We make honest and versatile food of what nature offers us.

Chef Raymond Kaper

My aim is to blend creativity and sustainability and to work based on the seasons.

Together with the team, we are focussed on sustainability, quality and the Dutch Cuisine. The challenges and possibilities are infinite but the Dutch traditions remain. After years of cooking abroad, I strive to convert my knowledge and techniques to the Dutch school with lots of taste and love.”

CULTURE 80% seasonal products; whereas possible from Dutch soil and 20% off season. HEALTHY 80% vegetables and 20% meat or fish. NATURE use what nature offers us, no use of artificial additives, work from head to tail and no waste. QUALITY the use of fair-quality products; organic, fair-trade, animal-friendly, pure, fresh and regional or locally produced where possible. VALUE all that the earth offers us, is a gift from our previous generation that we must pass on to the next generation.
